Job Summary: Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery) — Issaquah, Washington
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit to support care across labor and preterm labor services. Responsibilities include circulating and assisting with labor processes, high-risk deliveries, triage of obstetrical patients, and post-procedure recovery activities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts), with a minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active certifications/requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Intermediate (AWHONN Intermediate), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred). Education/degree: Not specified. Location: Issaquah, Washington. Minimum experience: 2 years of experience required. Travel experience: Travel experience required (Yes).

- Additional Information: Float may be required to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set. Responsibilities include administration of blood and blood products, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, assisting with high-risk delivery, epidural anesthesia support, magnesium sulfate therapy, maintaining central lines (CVC/PICC), pain assessment and management, recovery for C-section, sterile vaginal exams, and triage of obstetrical patients. Additional skills may include the use of Intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) placement and calibration, use of PCA (IV), and wound assessment/care. The unit supports care for labor/preterm labor and includes circulating, OB-GYN support, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low-risk antepartum, low-risk L&D, attend all deliveries, attend high-risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery.
- References/Compliance: Two references covering one year (six months for CNA roles) within the last three years during the compliance process and prior to start. References may include charge roles or lead modules, as applicable.
