Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) — Fort Worth, Texas
The organization is seeking a travel Registered Nurse to support Labor & Delivery services, including high-acuity patient care and intermediate fetal monitoring. Responsibilities include managing labor and delivery workflows and assisting with procedures such as cesarean sections and related gynecologic procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts), minimum 36 hours per week; 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift timing.
- Required Qualifications: Current nursing licensure (required); Intermediate Fetal Monitoring; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Basic Life Support (BLS); O.R. Circulator skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification preference (C-EFM); bilingual; prior scrub tech skills.
- Responsibilities: Provide labor and delivery nursing care; support high-risk patient monitoring with appropriate staffing ratios; participate in care for cesarean sections and BTLs/salpingectomies.
- Additional Information: Floating may be required to postpartum and/or a medical floor setting (only as a tech). Weekend shifts and on-call requirements include 4 weekend shifts per month. Unit setting includes Labor & Delivery with 10 LDRs and an OBED area.
