Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position is available in Enid, Oklahoma. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to female patients of childbearing age, including pregnant patients at 17 weeks gestation, laboring women, scheduled procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions, and triage issues. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position requires the ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week.
Job Details:
- Location: Enid, Oklahoma
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, three days per week, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, 2 years of Cerner electronic health record system experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring skills through AWHONN training
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Fetalink documentation and Cerner EMR system
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and Cesarean). Common equipment used includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation.
