Job Summary:
A registered nurse opportunity in the Labor and Delivery Department located in Dixon, Illinois. This role involves providing care for antepartum, postpartum, and high-risk labor patients, including level 2 nursery patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position offers 12-hour day and night shifts.

- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably 2 or more; certifications including AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS certification, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); proficiency in electronic charting using EPIC - Community Works; a minimum of 1 year(s) of experience; ability to care for gynecological surgical patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-risk antepartum and postpartum units; familiarity with Level 2 nursery care; dependability, positivity, and motivation.
- Additional Information: Orientation consists of 3 days of on-unit learning, with classroom, testing, and practical observation. The charting system utilized is EPIC. Scrubs are provided. The facility uses Pyxis pharmacy systems 24/7. The unit may provide assistance to other departments during surge periods, including medical-surgical and emergency department units. Candidates must understand OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
