Job Summary:
This Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is assigned to a facility located in Denver, Colorado. The role involves providing compassionate and expert care for obstetric patients during nights, with a schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:

- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: Minimum of 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification, minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery experience. EMR systems utilized include Meditech and CPN.
- Preferred Qualifications: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience, Operating Room (OR) experience.
- Additional Information: The unit has 29 beds, 4 operating rooms, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms. Staff includes approximately 148 members, with a typical patient-to-staff ratio of 2:1. The unit uses Centricity and GE monitors. Procedures performed in this unit include vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions, with a focus on high-risk obstetrics. Candidates should be self-starters capable of working independently and supporting team efforts.
