Job Summary:
A Licensed Practical Nurse (L&D) located in Brighton, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted standards of practice as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role entails assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting to support maternal and neonatal health.
Job Details:
- Location: Brighton, Colorado
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service; previous experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.

- Additional Information: The role requires evaluating health status through ongoing data collection, performing health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. The candidate may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
