Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse for a high-volume unit located in Boston, Massachusetts. Candidates must have a current Massachusetts license and bring their license on the first day. This role involves working in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NNICU) with a focus on high-risk obstetric and neonatal care. The position requires flexibility to float between Labor and Delivery and other obstetric services as needed. The shift schedule includes rotating 12-hour shifts, and candidates should be available to start as soon as possible.

  • Required Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; experience in Labor and Delivery, high-risk or tertiary care, and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must have experience with high-risk obstetrics, including VBACs, Cesarean sections, and natural births.
    • Must have previous Labor and Delivery experience and be comfortable floating between obstetric services when necessary.
    • No first-time travelers will be accepted.
    • No local travelers will be accepted (residence within 50 miles of the facility is not permitted).
    • Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays (barring holidays).
    • Candidates who have worked for the healthcare organization as travel, perm, or per diem within the last year must be separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible.
    • Parking costs up to $43/day; public transportation is available.
