Job Summary: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) — Austin, Texas. This seasonal contract role supports a Level 4 maternal center providing care for complex patients across all gestational ages. The position requires the ability to deliver safe, efficient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented Labor & Delivery environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN licensure; experience with high risk maternal patients; ability to perform circulating operating room and triage; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; ability to change directions quickly; team-oriented and able to function as a team player.
- Preferred Qualifications: Greater than 5 years experience; experience that includes circulating operating room and triage; candidates with preferred skill sets may be considered first.
- Additional Information: General unit activity includes vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C, and C-hyst procedures, along with PASD cases. No on-call requirements are listed. Weekends require 4 weekend shifts on the schedule. The start date is 07/13/2026.
