Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) position is available in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the interventional radiology unit, supporting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Peoria, Illinois
- Schedule: Days shift, 9 hours per shift, 4 days per week. Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated. Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). Experience: 2 years in a relevant clinical setting. Skills include EKG interpretation required by RN and drip titration experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, Phillips monitors, and managing GI bleed, strokes, biopsies, central lines, drains, and vascular patients.
- Additional Information: Primary and secondary call requirements of 6-8 shifts in 6 weeks, including weekends and holidays. Call response time is 30 minutes. Department is closed on holidays. Ratios: 1:1 intraprocedural, up to 1:4 in phase 2 recovery. No float requirements. Surgical scrubs are provided. Department-specific orientation is 5 days.
