Job Summary:
This nursing position is located in an Adult Intensive Care Unit in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients, with a focus on septic management, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Schedule: 36 hours per week (minimum)
- Required Qualifications: ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, care of septic patients, care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices, ACLS, BLS certifications, Indiana license, 0 years of minimum experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic EMR system, additional certifications or experience related to critical care
- Additional Information: Orientation includes modules completed on the first day, Epic training if needed, and one day of on-unit orientation. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy. Proper attire includes navy scrubs, avoiding hoodies and non-Franciscan sweatshirts. Candidates should report to 3 east in the Tower building and park in designated employee parking.
