Job Summary:
A CVICU Registered Nurse position is available in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This travel assignment involves working in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) delivering critical care to patients. The role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day, with a focus on open heart and neuro case experience in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
- Start Date: 07/06/2026
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications — Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Education and Experience — at least 1-2+ years of CVICU experience in a hospital setting; Location — Pennsylvania; Years of experience — 0 or more
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart, neuro cases, intracranial pressure drains, balloon pumps
- Additional Information: Floating to other units may be required. No call requirements.
- Scope of Role: Critical care experience, open heart surgery, ICP drains, balloon pumps
