- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), at least one year of experience in Cardiac Critical Care, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and experience in cardiac care.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to all units within the clinical scope of the organization if needed.

- Unit: Acuity adaptable cardiovascular intensive care unit with 80 beds.
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: variable—1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4.
- Scrub color: Royal Blue.
- EMR system used: Sunrise Clinical Manager.
- Open Heart Receiving weekends: one weekend every three weeks.
