Job Summary:
A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular specialty located in Englewood, Colorado. The position involves providing specialized patient care in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit with a focus on neuro and medical ICU populations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Englewood, Colorado
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, with schedules including day and night shifts (Day Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Night Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Current acute care ICU hospital experience with a minimum of 1-year, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification or equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro population, medical ICU population, prior Meditech electronic medical record experience.
- Patient Care: Providing care for a patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, utilizing cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
- Additional Information: Candidates with a collaborative and team-oriented personality are preferred. Prior patient care experience is a priority.
