Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nursing position is located in a healthcare facility environment. The role involves delivering specialized patient care in an ICU setting, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts every other weekend. Candidates will be responsible for floating between ICU and intermediate care units as needed, adhering to facility protocols and standards of care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, at least 2 years of experience in a similar ICU environment, specialized experience with cardiothoracic (CT) surgery, and familiarity with devices such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella. Must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months. Orientation occurs weekly. Any color scrubs are acceptable.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have a completed BILH (Boston Integrated Laboratory & Hospital) coversheet at the time of submission. Experience with Epic electronic medical records is required. Will be expected to float between ICU and intermediate care units. A 12-hour night shift schedule is required to be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
