Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) position located in Aurora, Colorado. The selected candidate will work in a general mixed ICU that manages a variety of patients, including Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and Neurosurgery cases, as well as post-operative open-heart surgery patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
- Location: Aurora, Colorado
- Unit Type: ICU
- Shift: Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
- Start Date: 07/20/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure; minimum 1-year current acute care ICU hospital experience; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health (NIH); prior Meditech experience; experience with CVICU or Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (Care of the immediate post-operative open heart surgery patient).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with post-operative open-heart surgery patients, bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, arterial and central line insertions, airway care, and drip titration.
- Additional Information: Located near the mountains with seasonal snow and outdoor activities; team-oriented and friendly nursing staff.
