Job Details:
- Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Days; 8-hour shifts; Minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred; Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN); ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) chemo/immunotherapy certificate; Oncology Nurse (OCN) certification required after 2 years of hire or after reaching 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice; Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 1-2 years of experience in ambulatory oncology required.
- Additional Information: Outpatient chemo infusion experience is required. The position reports to the Clinical Nursing Manager, Cancer Center, and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Candidates must demonstrate leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Basic computer skills and confidentiality awareness are required. Effective communication with patients, peers, physicians, and family members is essential.
