Job Summary:
Emergency Room Travel Nurse position available in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy trauma and general emergency department setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires flexibility to float to different campuses and work during night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/13/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS. Valid license to practice as a registered nurse. 1 year of experience in emergency department settings. Experience in adult and pediatric emergencies, trauma, and ventilated patient care is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, and familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have travel experience. Knowledge of procedures such as Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, RSI, Trach Care, blood product administration, and various trauma protocols is essential. The role involves performing procedures including procedural sedation, airway management, central line care, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
  • Certifications and skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, management of ventilated patients, neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, phlebotomy, spinal cord injury care, and more.
  • References: Two references covering one year within the last three years are required, which can include charge RNs or lead nurses.
  • Modules: Pre-start and annual non-billable training totaling approximately 16 hours, with approval needed for over 20 hours.
