Job Summary:
The organization is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RN) for a facility located in Salem, Massachusetts. Candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency nursing care across rotating shifts, including day, evening, and night hours. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Salem, Massachusetts
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts including 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, when requested. Night position does not rotate.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience, with clinical skills including assessment, documentation, intravenous (IV) therapy, phlebotomy, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
- Additional Information:
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Unit Description: 65-bed pod-based emergency department, with separate pediatric and acute mental health areas, serving an approximate 230 visits per day, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records system.
