Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend is required.
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
- Emergency department competencies
- Additional Information:
- Patient assignment ratios are generally 4:1 and may increase to 5:1 during surges.
- The role includes caring for patients in a 25-bed emergency department.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make personal connections with patients are required.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
- The position includes use of patient monitoring, infusion pump, and emergency transport-monitoring equipment.
