Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Plattsburgh, New York. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 1 trauma teaching facility. Candidates are required to bring their licensing documentation on the first day of work. The scheduled shift is nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on July 13, 2026.

- Required Qualifications:
- One (1) year minimum of emergency room experience
- Valid New York license or proof of application with applied date (application processing time of 6-8 weeks considered)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; TNCC must be active or proof of class prior to start, NIHSS required prior to start
- Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior travel ER RN experience
- Charge nurse experience
- Additional Information:
- Public transportation access is unavailable; reliable personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires during November-April strongly recommended
- No block schedules; shift time is Monday to Sunday with a schedule flexibility as per facility needs
- Must explain all employment gaps over 90 days
- All work history details must be complete for submission
