Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) — Ottumwa, Iowa. The role provides nursing care in an acute care Emergency Room setting with a primarily adult and geriatric patient population. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA))
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Background clearance requirements applicable for Iowa (criminal portion and Child Abuse portion required)
- Mandatory reporter certification for both child and adult reporting
- Drug test requirement: 10-panel screening including opiates
- Immunity/titers required from the last 12 months (Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis B (Hep B), Varicella, and Tuberculosis (TB))
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience and experience in a similar-size acute care setting
- Additional Information:
- Patient volume and call coverage needs require coverage for daily volume and call coverage 24/7
- Willingness to support Monday or Tuesday start dates may be required
- The facility primarily serves adults and geriatrics
