Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Emergency Room. This position provides emergency nursing care in a Level I or Level II trauma environment on 12-hour day shifts. Prior travel experience and a minimum of three years of emergency department experience in a similar-size department are required.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of three years of emergency department experience in a similar-size department; Level I or Level II trauma experience; current Virginia or compact nursing license at the time of submission; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; trauma certification, such as ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC; prior travel experience.
- Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Orientation is available on 12/14 or 12/28. Availability to work two of three holidays and every other weekend is required. Assignments conclude on Saturdays. Requested time off must be submitted with application materials. Approved COVID-19 and influenza vaccine declinations are accepted.
