Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented emergency department with a 28-bed unit that includes trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms. Candidates are required to bring their Hawaii nursing license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Schedule: Days - 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly). There is no guarantee of hours.
- Required Qualifications: Possession of a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Hawaii; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Procedural Sedation certification, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TMCC), Emergency Pediatric Course (EMPC).
- Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on the following Friday. The start date is 08/10/2026.
