Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position located in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment within a 28-bed emergency department that includes trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms. Candidates are required to bring their Hawaii nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Required Qualifications: Hawaii State Nursing License, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and zero years of experience.
- Schedule: Nights; 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours weekly, following the first week of orientation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency room nursing is advantageous but not required.
- Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend employee health appointment on Friday. Position urgency is normal.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Position Responsibility: Provide high-quality emergency nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and handle a fast patient turnover in a busy environment.
