Job Summary:
The position is for an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse at a healthcare facility located in Grand Marais, Minnesota. Candidates are required to bring their Minnesota Nursing license or a copy of their application for a temporary Minnesota Nursing license on the first day. The role involves working in both the Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical units with floating responsibilities. The shift is rotating, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. - Required Qualifications: Minnesota Nursing license (or copy of application for temporary MN Nursing license), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing, and experience working in a Med/Surg setting.
- Schedule: Weekend requirement is every other or every 3rd weekend.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Critical Access facility focusing on emergency and medical/surgical care.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is Meditech.
- Scrubs: any appropriate color or print.
- Facility housing may be available with a $7 reduction in the bill rate if accepted.
- Candidates must submit ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications in their submission packet.
