Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in Cypress, Texas. This role involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Job Details:
- Location: Cypress, Texas
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course). Minimum of 0 years of experience in emergency nursing.
- Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Clinical Experience: At least 2 years of emergency department experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic medical records system.
- Additional Information:
- Unit staffing includes 26 FTEs hired in, with a core need of 33 staff members.
- Typical patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1.
- Equipment used includes Philips monitors.
- Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs.
- Policy and unit guidelines are available for review.
- Schedule involves rotating weekends with no on-call requirements.
- No floating area restrictions.
