Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) — Clyde, North Carolina. The organization is seeking an RN to provide emergency care services in an Emergency Department setting, supporting patients across a range of acuities. The role requires the ability to recognize changes in patient status and respond appropriately, with a focus on efficient, safe care for a team-based patient workload. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week. Weekend hours are every other weekend unless the opposite weekend schedule is being worked.
- Required Qualifications: Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; at least ADN (or higher) education (required education is “nothing specific at least ADN”); 2–3+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience; and at least 1 year of travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Preferred experience includes familiarity with common emergency diagnoses and treatments.
- Additional Information: Role includes caring for geriatric and adult patients primarily, with some pediatric patients.
