Job Summary:
An emergency room registered nurse (RN) position is available in Anderson, Indiana. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced, 29-bed emergency department. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, timely, and compassionate care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Anderson, Indiana
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana; BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS), TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course; 0 years minimum experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years emergency nursing experience preferred; previous experience in a high-volume Emergency Department preferred; strong communication, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Additional Information: The position involves rapid decision-making and multitasking in a high-acuity clinical setting, with responsibilities including performing comprehensive patient assessments, managing emergency interventions, administering medications and therapies, monitoring patient conditions, assisting with emergency procedures, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, and collaborating with various healthcare professionals.
