Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse Manager in Portland, Maine. The manager will oversee staff and patient care in a 70-bed facility with an emphasis on cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in a Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology and are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Portland, ME
- Certifications and Experience: RN with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; at least 2+ years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Laboratory or Interventional Radiology setting.
- Schedule: Rotating days Monday through Friday with rotating weekend call from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday; one night per week on-call from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm; weekend rotation once per month.
- Additional Information: The manager will oversee staff on the unit, which includes performing cardiac angiograms, IR procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, sedation administration, patient recovery, and arterial access recovery. Experience in a multidisciplinary team environment is required. Orientation period is dependent on experience. The scrub color is procedural, provided. Parking is free.
