Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab position in Norwalk, CT. This role supports daily invasive cardiac procedures and provides on-call coverage for weekends and holidays, including urgent cardiac and neuroendovascular cases. The position follows a day-shift schedule with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active Connecticut Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; minimum of two years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in intensive care, coronary care, emergency room, or electrophysiology settings.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; weekday scheduling may include a combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts, with one weekday off per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include daily invasive cardiac procedures and on-call coverage after hours, on weekends, and on holidays for cases such as ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and acute neuroendovascular strokes. Two Registered Nurses cover each on-call shift.
