Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Fullerton, California. This role involves working in a specialized Cath Lab environment with a focus on interventional cardiology procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a dynamic clinical setting with exposure to various interventional procedures and advanced cardiac equipment.
Job Details:
- Location: Fullerton, California
- Shift: 2 Nights/week + 1 weekend/2 weeks, totaling 7 days every 2 weeks
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license; 2 years of experience preferred, with a hard stop at 1.5 years; Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); experience with Epic electronic medical record system; minimum of 1 year of travel experience preferred; must include RTO requests at time of submission; references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex cardiac procedures including angioplasty, cardiac ablation, device management (AICDs, pacemakers), interventional radiology, and use of advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day). All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state.
- Special Requirements: RTO requests must be included at submission; applicants must be able to pass background checks and provide two references covering recent work experience; current LA fire card within last 30 days is required; candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in the specified skills and procedures.
