Job Summary:
The location is in Denver, Colorado. This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) specializing in adult and pediatric cardiac, vascular, electrophysiology (EP), and congenital procedures. The role involves supporting a busy unit with a variety of interventional procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Position: Travel RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
- Shift: Day shift with options of 4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days, with weekly night call and rotating weekend call
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care Cath Lab RN experience, at least 1-year intra-procedural Cath Lab experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with electrophysiology (EP) experience and pediatric Cath Lab experience will be considered first.
- Additional Information: The unit performs a broad range of procedures including left heart catheterizations (LHC), right heart catheterizations (RHC), congenital Vascular, and electrophysiology (EP) procedures. The team works with new equipment and technology, and the staff's tenure and experience are high. The unit handles approximately 15 nights of on-call per month with a low emergency callback rate of about 10%.
