Job Summary:
A Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an acute care hospital located in Apple Valley, California. This role involves working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of orientation. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience, with at least one year specific to catheterization laboratory work.
Job Details:
- Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Schedule: Dayshift with on-call requirements; on-call hours are from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weeknights and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM).
- Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license must be in hand. Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, with skills such as Cardiac Stent Placement, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, and experience with Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac stent placement and circulating procedures.
- Additional Information: Locals accepted at a lower bill rate. Candidates must disclose any license or background hits upfront; no open license hits will be approved. The position requires working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates should have completed LA fire safety card within the last 30 days. References covering the last year (or six months for CNAs) are required during the compliance process.
