Job Summary:
The Anchorage, Alaska-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab) RN position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, advanced medical environment. The role involves performing complex diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a high-level trauma and magnet-designated facility. Candidates are required to bring their AK Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 10-hour days, 4 days per week (4x10 Days)
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Start Date: 07/20/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid AK RN license (must be in hand for auto offer), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or related environment, proficiency in charting with Epic EMR system.
  • Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, with call requirements including 1 weekday and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 1800 to Monday at 0730).
  • Additional Information: On-call duty includes approximately one Saturday per month as part of scheduled shifts. Flexibility to float within scope to Emergency Procedure (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) units is required. The candidate must be willing to work holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
  • Certifications & Skills: BLS, ACLS, experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Stent Placement, Central Venous Access, Diagnosis and management of dysrhythmias, Pulmonary Angiography, and other interventional procedures.
  • Additional Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience; must have AK RN license in hand at time of auto offer.
  • References: Two references covering at least 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, during the compliance process and prior to start date.
