Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Night Shift Nursing Coordinator in Washington, DC. Job Details:
- Location: Washington, DC
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and RN (Registered Nurse) license. Certification in Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) are preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility, regardless of role (Staff, PRN, Travel), must be noted in the work history for rehire verification purposes.
- Additional Information: The primary coordinator manages daily patient flow, communicates with hospital leadership, facilitates centralized bed management, and functions as the operational lead for patient flow activities. The role requires coordination across departments to streamline patient throughput and bed utilization.
- Shift Details: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Holiday Requirements: One winter holiday and one summer holiday; holiday shifts include the eve and day of the holiday.
