Radiation Therapist (RTT) — Silverdale, Washington
A Radiation Therapist is responsible for preparing treatment rooms and equipment and delivering prescribed radiation treatments with accurate verification of treatment and treatment doses. This role includes patient positioning, monitoring, imaging, and treatment delivery, along with patient education and complete documentation of treatments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; or Warmup (if/when trained) 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Washington (WA) license (required at time of submittal); Radiologic Technologist Certification; American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred Qualifications: ARIA; Varian TrueBeam
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, including required supplies and setup devices
- Deliver prescribed and planned radiation treatment courses, including verification of treatment and treatment doses
- Perform patient positioning and monitoring, including imaging and treatment delivery
- Provide patient education and complete documentation of patient treatments
- Maintain detailed treatment records in ARIA and Epic
- Obtain appropriate port films on patients when prescribed
