Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist (RTT) in Napa, California. This position involves providing radiation therapy services in an acute care facility, supporting adult inpatient and outpatient populations. The role requires the candidate to bring their license on the first day of employment and is ideal for those with at least one year of experience in radiation therapy.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, with start times varying between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM based on patient volume. Weekend shifts are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and are rotated.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Therapeutic) certification, State of California license (preferred; pending license accepted), 0 years minimum experience, and valid certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience.
- Float: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility.
- Additional Information: Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year). Candidates should be prepared to work weekends as specified. Submission must include a SSN, date of birth, RTO details at the time of submission, and two references covering at least one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years, prior to start.
- Unit & Equipment Details: The role involves working in an acute care setting with specialized equipment such as Electron Field, Elekta Infinity, Tomo Therapy, Varian 21 ex/ix, and Impac MOSAIQ. Experience with adult acute care and outpatient settings, along with expertise in advanced radiation oncology procedures such as SRS, SBRT, and respiratory gating, is required.
- Additional Position Notes: The provider must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals, with no more than a 50-mile radius from Napa, California. Travel compliance documents (SSN, DOB, RTO, certifications, references) are required at the time of submittal.
