Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist (RTT) position located in a healthcare facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing outpatient oncology radiation therapy services in a busy treatment center with an average of 7-9 patients daily. The Radiation Therapist will assist with administering radiation treatments, supporting a multidisciplinary team, and coordinating patient care within a well-established oncology department.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Radiation Therapist certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2 years of experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Varian radiation systems, familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system, Alaris and Pyxis equipment
- Additional Information:
- First-time traveler status upon review
- Patient types: outpatient oncology patients only
- Support on the unit includes two therapists working, a radiation oncologist on site twice a week, one nurse scheduled daily, and a patient service representative for scheduling and flow management
- Charting system includes EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis
- Orientation: one-week unit orientation through New Employee Orientation (NEO)
- No on-call requirements or holiday expectations
