Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position located in Joplin, Missouri. The role involves delivering specialized radiation treatments within the Oncology Unit, utilizing advanced equipment such as the Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator and Mosaiq R&V system. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers a schedule of five days per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Job Details:
- Location: Joplin, Missouri
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: ARRT(T) -- Radiation Therapist (RT(T)) or higher certification; BLS certification; valid ARRT(T) license; 2-3 years of experience; proficiency in operating Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators with Mosaiq R&V; excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators and Mosaiq R&V.
- Additional Information: The role involves the delivery of daily radiation treatments including 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT. The candidate will contribute to maintaining safe and efficient patient care during high demand periods and summer team PTO coverage. CT simulation experience is a plus but not required, as another team member handles this.
