Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in a healthcare facility located in a specific region. This position involves performing radiation therapy and radiographic procedures on patients, including treatments for cancer and osteoarthritis. The role requires operating specialized X-ray equipment and maintaining accurate treatment records, with a focus on delivering quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy, Licensed Radiation Therapist (RADTH) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), and valid licenses in the state of employment. Experience: 1 year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Trilogy and/or Trubean radiation machines.
- Responsibilities:
- Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances.
- Operate specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician.
- Keep detailed treatment records and prepare operational reports.
- Maintain and order supplies and equipment.
- Provide quality patient care tailored to diagnosis, age, development, and other needs.
