Job Summary:
Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position available in Avondale, Arizona. The role involves providing outpatient rehabilitative services to adults and adolescents, focusing on orthopedic conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and should have at least one year of orthopedic experience, preferably two or more years. The position begins on June 1, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Avondale, Arizona
- Schedule: 8 hours per shift, Days shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid physical therapy assistant license; 1+ years of orthopedic experience (2+ preferred); experience with Gross Motor Assessment; ability to see 50-55 visits per week; familiarity with orthopedic conditions such as Achilles Tendonitis, ACL Tear, Post-Operative Back Pain, Calf Strain, Disc Herniation, Fractures/Stress Fractures, Generalized Low Back Pain, Headache, Meniscus Tear, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Plantar fasciitis, Postural Dysfunction, Rotator Cuff Non-surgical Intervention, SI Joint Dysfunction, Rotator Cuff Repair-Post Operative Care, Stenosis, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Total Joint Replacement; proficiency in NextGen Case Management.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adults and adolescents; ability to adapt to a business casual dress code; strong assessment skills.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
