Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy; active license or plan to test in the near future to hold license as a Physical Therapist in the state in which you intend to work; 0 years of experience required; located in Templeton, CA.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, utilizing electronic medical records, supervising PT assistants and aides, communicating with physicians, maintaining documentation, ensuring patient comfort, and adhering to HIPAA, billing policies, and confidentiality standards.
- Ability to perform physical mobility, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with patient transfers and mobility, with lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Must be familiar with ICD-10 coding and billing procedures for Medicare, workers’ compensation, private, auto, liens, and cash pay.
- Must have computer proficiency (Word, Internet, EMR), and the ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care.
- No travel is expected for this position.
