Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (OP) — a professional role located at the outpatient setting, responsible for evaluating and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. This position involves implementing therapy services aimed at facilitating patients' return to community activities and promoting overall health and safety. The successful candidate will serve as an educator and collaborator within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and safety protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; license in good standing and in accordance with discipline-specific State Practice Act; completion of all mandated continuing education requirements
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings; additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques
- Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans, and updates documentation accurately and timely. Participates in student training programs, fostering a positive learning environment. Maintains professional licensure and adheres to organizational and regulatory standards, including performance improvement initiatives. Demonstrates safety awareness and complies with all clinic policies relating to patient and staff safety.
