Job Summary
Physical Therapist, Outpatient — Modesto/Ceres, California. This contract position provides outpatient orthopedic care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries in a collaborative clinic setting. The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops and communicates treatment plans, monitors progress, and works with medical teams and specialty physicians.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; current physical therapy license in the state of practice; at least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience; at least 1 year of experience using manual therapy techniques.
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist; experience treating 14–16 patients per day; experience treating sprains, strains, and fractures.
- Additional Information:
- Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal injuries.
- Communicate treatment plans and evaluations effectively to medical teams.
- Report patient progress to physicians, including orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons.
- Assist clinical colleagues in identifying patient care issues.
- Coverage may include outpatient clinic locations in the Modesto and Stockton areas.
- Assignment dates are 12/07/2026 through 04/02/2027.
