Job Summary:
Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT OP) position available in an outpatient setting. This role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and ensuring effective return to community activities. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts and requires a dedicated healthcare professional committed to delivering quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience; CPR Certification; active license for the state where work will be performed; 0 years of experience minimum.
  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Completes comprehensive evaluations of patients and uses clinical reasoning for treatment planning and goal setting aimed at patient discharge within an established length of stay.
  • Performs timely and accurate medical record documentation, including goal writing, functional assessments, and charge entry, in compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Provides care under signed, valid physician orders and insurance approval as needed.
  • Participates in student programs, providing supervision and feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Pursues ongoing professional development through continuing education and active involvement in professional organizations.
  • Ensures adherence to State Practice Acts, maintains licensure in good standing, and observes professional code of conduct.
  • Demonstrates commitment to organizational performance improvement initiatives and safety policies, including patient and staff safety protocols relating to safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and workplace hazards.
  • Performs all other related duties consistent with the scope of practice for a physical therapist in an outpatient setting.
