Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (OP) position is available in a facility located in Lewiston, Maine. This outpatient orthopedic therapy role involves providing therapeutic services to a diverse patient population with a focus on post-operative, trauma-related, sprain, and strain treatments. The position is scheduled for day shifts, offering a consistent work schedule to support clinical responsibilities and patient care needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, valid Physical Therapist license, no specific years of experience required, located within the state of Maine or able to obtain licensure.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pelvic floor therapy experience is a helpful additional skill but not mandatory.
- Equipment: Standard outpatient orthopedic therapy equipment.
- Patient Population: Outpatient orthopedic patients, including post-operative, trauma, sprain, and strain cases.
- Unit Information: Outpatient Orthopedics unit with patient-focused care.
- Additional Notes: The role is a contractor replacement position, scheduled to start on 11/01/2026 and end on 01/31/2027, with no float requirements.
