Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing care for outpatient patients, primarily with conditions such as orthopedics, balance, deconditioning, and pain management. The position requires adherence to all standards of physical therapy practice and is suitable for a licensed professional with relevant clinical skills.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited institution; valid Clinical License in the state of Texas (or compact license); BLS certification from the American Heart Association; 1 year of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
- Additional Information: The physical therapist will work independently to assess patients, recognize additional needs during evaluations, interpret results, and formulate measurable, realistic goals. Regular re-assessment and collaboration with patients and families are essential components of this role. Full-time employment start date is as soon as possible, with a possible temporary to permanent transition.
