Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (OP) position in a healthcare facility. This outpatient role involves evaluating patients, establishing treatment goals, administering diagnostic tests, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patient function and prevent disability. The therapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, document patient care, and provide education to patients and their families.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, effective communication skills in English, 0 or more years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Documentation of Specialist Certification, ability to serve as a clinical resource, assist in planning and supervision of clinical specialty areas.
- Additional Information: The role involves evaluating new patients, setting measurable treatment goals, administering diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests, and providing therapeutic procedures. The therapist will also mentor new personnel, maintain departmental policies, and participate in professional growth activities. The position is scheduled to start on 10/12/2026 and end on 01/09/2027.
