Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) — Location: Not specified. Job Details
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; current BLS certification; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Schedule: Rotating shift with 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include evaluating new patients, setting measurable treatment goals, establishing appropriate treatment programs, conducting diagnostic tests, administering therapy, and documenting patient care and progress.
- Provides instruction in therapeutic procedures for patients and families, assists in training new personnel, and maintains compliance with departmental policies and safety standards.
- Engages in professional development through participation in approved education programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
- Maintains daily records of patient activity and charges, and performs other related duties as assigned.
