Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) — Location: unspecified. Job Details
- Position Description: Outpatient PT, starting 10/26 for a six-month contract. Provides therapy services by evaluating patients and creating individualized treatment plans. Responsible for delegation and supervision of discipline-specific therapy services. Ensures programs promote functional recovery and safe reintegration into community activities. Acts as an educator for patients, families, colleagues, and students.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; CPR certification; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; availability to work days with a schedule of 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: 6 months of outpatient experience is highly desired.
- Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, documents thoroughly and accurately, and ensures care is provided under physician orders and insurance policies. Participates in student programs, pursues ongoing professional development, and maintains licensure and compliance with state and regulatory standards. Adheres to safety protocols and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
